The former chairman of the Northern Governors Forum and Leader of the PDP in Niger State Babangida Aliyu has revealed what he calls the truth about why he declined support for Former President GoodLuck Jonathan in 2015.
Babangida who was the former governor and chief servant of the north central state was speaking on our Current Affairs Programe Executive Edge, on Tuesday 13th April 2020 in his Abuja residence.
According to his the PDP did not loose the elections in actual sense saying instead that the Former President made an agreement on which he renaged on.
On the issue of governance he says Nigeria canot make progress usless justice and fairplay is applied in all we do and that greed must be reduced to the minimum if not totally eliminated.
For him, being from Niger State and having being a Governor from 2007 to 2015 the thorney issue of the abdiction of Boys from their school in Kagara would have never happened as it never did when i was governor according to him. He is of the view that the Kagara abduction was a calculated move by criminals that could have been averted if the authorities were proactive.
Babangida insists that someone in the hirachy of governance in the state must have had or gotten information about the attack.
