A protest to mark the first anniversary of #EndSARS movement has commenced at Unity Fountain in Abuja.
Control TV correspondent In Abuja reports that youths turned out in their numbers displaying placards which read, “WE NEVER FORGET 20.10.20. #ENDSARS MEMORIAL” and chanting, as they gathered at Unity Fountain.

The rally commenced at the unity fountain where the youths led by social activist, Omoyele Sowore addressed journalists.
According to sowore, the government has not shown any remorse one year after the protest, and has continued to suppress the citizens.
He says justice is yet to be served on security operatives who were involved in the alleged lekki tollgate shootings.
Also Briefing Journalists Is a legal practitioner, pelumi olajengbesi, who expressed her displeasure towards the ineptitude of the Federal government having failed to investigate cases of human right violations.
The situation is however peaceful, as the two sides are standing face-to-face, with the youths singing songs of solidarity.
