The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Ekiti State Chapter has congratulated Muslim faithfuls especially members of the affiliated Unions on the celebration of this year’s Ramadan.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, the State NLC Chairman, Comrade Kolapo Joshua who also rejoiced with political office holders who are Muslims urged them to celebrate with modesty and be security conscious during and after the festive period.

Comrade Kolapo pointed out the need to reflex in their dealings the resolutions made during the thirty days fasting for Allah to accept their ibadah.
Comrade Kolapo who lamented the economy situation in the country, however called on the State government to pay all the outstanding allowances, salaries and other benefits of workers to ensure harmonious relationship.
Comrade Kolapo also advocated conducive atmosphere for workers in the State for optimal service delivery, and promised that present leadership of Ekiti NLC would not relent in its fight for the right of Civil Servants.
