Eight suspected yahoo boys have been nabbed by the men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja.
The arrested was effected in the early hours of Thursday, May 6, 2021 after the commission acted on a reliable information about the alleged criminals activities at Jabi. The suspects are between the ages of eighteen and twenty-nine.

The Commission gave the names of the suspects as Emmanuel Anyeba, Precious Samuel, Mujib Ariyo, Micheal Ogaba, Mathew Ibeh, Jamiu Ariyo, Precious Kalu and Isaac Sunday.
Accordingto investigation gathered by the commission, the suspects had established an academy which trained internet fraudsters in their secret abode. Eight mobile phones were among the items recovered.The suspects will be processed for court very soon once investigation ends.

In recent development, the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Enugu Zonal Office arrested seven suspected fraudsters linked to an internet fraud.The antigraft agency gave the names of the suspects as Laure Anya, Benjamin Okoro, Eze Emmanuel, Oko Francis, Ubah Samuel, Uwandu Michael, and Akpan Itoro.According to the commission, their arrest was effected upon reliable intelligence gathered on the suspects on April 16 at a popular hostel in Nkponkiti – Ogui New Layout area of Enugu.
They were accused of being part of a crime syndicate that specializes in defrauding unsuspecting members of the public, mainly foreigners, by internet and computer-related fraud, according to the commission. Mobile phones and laptops were among the incriminating materials recovered.
