The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Ekiti State Council, has rejoiced with people of Ekiti State particularly muslim members of the union for the grace of Allah that sustained their lives to witness another end of Ramadan.

According to a statement by the Chairman of the Union, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela and the Secretary, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi, it is important to appreciate Allah and rejoice with members because not all that began the holy month ended it.
The statement urges Muslims to sustain the behavior and character displayed during the Holy month which include, love, humility, honesty, sacrifice and giving.
It adds that if such virtues were sustained, the society will be better.
The Union equally calls on the faithful to pray for a better Nigeria where Journalists would be treated fairly and given improved attention.
