Edinson Cavani has been handed the famous No.7 shirt upon signing for Manchester United.
Cavani was one of four deadline day transfers for United as the veteran striker arrived on a free transfer after being released by Paris Saint-Germain earlier this summer, signing a one-year deal with the option for a further 12 months.
The Uruguayan will wear the iconic No.7 jersey during his first season at Old Trafford, a number he wore at former clubs Palermo and Napoli as well as on occasions for his country. He tended to wear the No.9 at PSG, where he became their record goalscorer.

The number was vacated this summer after Alexis Sanchez sealed his permanent transfer to Inter earlier in the window and has previously been worn by club legends like George Best, Eric Cantona and Cristiano Ronaldo.
