In what may be termed a surprise move, former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has signified interest in returning to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) after six years of abandonment.
The strong APC critic and chieftain of the PDP is reported to have been in an hour long meeting with the APC chairman in what is believed to be a finalized move to re-decamp.
Sources close to him informed newsmen in Abuja that Mr. Fani Kayode met with chairman, Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) Gov. Mai Mala Buni and Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello at a Guest House in Abuja today.
The closed-door meeting, which lasted for about an hour, may not be unconnected with fine-tuning plans for his ultimate return to the APC.
Fani-Kayode had earlier met with Governor Bello in his Wuse Zone 6 residence in Abuja before he led the former Minister to the party chairman’s Guest House.
