The Nigeria centre for disease Control NCDC has reported 338 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 5,959
The agency made this known in its tweet saying Lagos state recorded the highest number of cases with 177 cases while Kano has recorded 64, FCT has 21, Rivers 16, Plateau 14, Oyo 11, Katsina state has 9 cases among others.
This figures are reported by the NCDC a day before The President is expected to address the nation on the next Containment actions to be taken.
The number of discharged cases is 1594 while the death has risen to 182.
