The Nigerian Centre for disease control and CDC as reported 221 new cases of covid-19 in the country.
the agency made this known in its daily tweet saying that Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 59, Abia has 46, and FCT 22, Gombe 20, Plateau 17, Rivers 11, Bauchi 7, Benue Imo, and Ekiti all have 6 cases each, while kaduna, kwara, and ondo, all have 4 cases each amongst other States.
56,956 cases have been confirmed 48,305 discharged while the death toll is now 1,094
