Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has announced that he has Tested Positive to the Coronavirus.
The governor said he is strictly observing the guidelines set by the NCDC on COVID-19 beginning with self Isolation.
The Governor said he is asymptomatic and feels fine, he also disclosed that he will operate remotely from his self isolation
Makinde’s positive status brings to 3 the number of governors confirmed to have contracted the deadly virus.
The first case of the coronavirus in Oyo state was reported on Saturday 21 March 2020.
