Nigeria on Tuesday reported zero COVID-19-related death for the seventh consecutive days as the nation’s fatality toll remains 2,065.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), in its daily update, said 47 new infections were reported from seven Nigerian States.

The breakdown of the fresh cases, as given by the NCDC, are as follows; Adamawa-19, Lagos-16, Enugu-3, Kaduna-3, Akwa Ibom-2, Delta-2 and FCT-2.
The Centre for Disease Control further disclosed that 40 patients recovered and have been discharged from different isolation centres in the country.
As of 11th May 2021, Nigeria has confirmed a total of 165,515 COVID-19 cases and 156,358 was successfully managed.
