Nigeria has recorded 1,303 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19.
This was disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update via it’s official twitter account on Tuesday night.
According to the centre, in the last 24 hours, 917 patients have been discharged after recovering.
But 15 new deaths were also recorded.
25 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) recorded new cases on Tuesday.
Lagos however recorded the highest number of cases with 478 while the FCT recorded 211 new cases.
Also, Nasarawa State recorded 83 new cases while Rivers State recorded 72 new cases.

Others are Kwara (42), Edo 36), Ondo (34), Benue (32), Kaduna (32), Katsina (26), Plateau (26), Kano (25), Taraba (25), Osun (22), Delta (21), Oyo (21), Niger (19), Sokoto (18), Ebonyi (17), Ekiti (14), Gombe (13), Ogun (12), Bauchi (11), Zamfara (8), Borno (4), and Jigawa (1).

The total number of confirmed cases is now 124,299.
So far, 99,276 recoveries and 1,522 fatalities have been recorded.
