The NCDC has reported 8 new cases of the coronavirus bringing the total number of cases to 89 in Nigeria.
7 cases were reported in Lagos and 1 in Benue.
The NCDC initially reported as 3 the number of recoveries on its Twitter handle and one death.
The Governor of Lagos state in a press briefing yesterday said 6 positive cases who turned negative after tests conducted will be released soon prompting optimists who say that could be the reason why the NCDC slide is not reflective of the recovered cases.
