Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases increased further on Friday, April 30, 2021, with 55 new infections in 8 states.
Record of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update showed that the country has reached a total of 165,110.

Lagos had 21 new cases, while Yobe recorded 19 and Ogun 6.
The data further showed that Akwa Ibom had 3, while Kaduna and Plateau recorded 2.
Meanwhile, FCT and Rivers documented 1 new case respectively.
No death was recorded, as the total number of lost lives remained unchanged at 2,063.

This has brought the nation to a total number of 165, 110 confirmed cases, 155,101 discharged, and 2,063 deaths.
