The Kaduna State Governor has said he has been infected by the Coronavirus.
Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai made the announcement this evening on his Twitter handle.
The Governor says he has gone into self Isolation and will remotely operate from his self Isolation.
The deputy governor assumes captainship of the state taskforce on COVID-19.
Governor El-rufai is the 2nd governor to have been infected with the virus, the first being the Bauchi state Governor Bala Mohammed.
