Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari, and the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu have taken their first jab.
The Permanent Secretary State House, Tijjani Umar and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), General Mohammed Buba Marwa (rtd) have also taken their first dose of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

This was in continuation of the ongoing national vaccination.
The Chief Nursing Officer, Dr Esther Ibrahim vaccinated them at the Special Care Centre of the State House Clinic, Abuja today.
Gambari after taking his jab said he was following the President’s footsteps as a responsible Nigerian, he therefore described the vaccination process as painless.

He pleaded with all eligible Nigerians to present themselves for the jab so Nigeria can attain herd immunity.
Permanent Secretary State House, Tijjani Umar while speaking on the occasion, said the government needs to protect its citizens through the provision of the COVID-19 vaccines.
