Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) has recorded 83 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in Nigeria.
NCDC disclosed this on Thursday, April 8, adding that Enugu was seen with the highest number of infected cases, which is, 22, while Rivers recorded 18.

In its record, the national public health institute showed that Nasarawa had a record of 9, Cross Rivers 8, Ondo 6, Delta 5, Akwa Ibom 4, and Bauchi 3.
Zamfara and Kaduna had a record of 2, while Ebonyi, Sokoto, Ekiti and Kano accounted for 1 respectively.
NCDC through this record showed that the country has summed up to a total number of 163,581 confirmed cases.
The total number of discharged cases was also recorded to be 154,005, while total number of death remained at 2,058, revealing that no life was lost.
