Nigerias First Lady Mrs. Aisha Buhari has raised deep concern over former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s Son contacting the Corona virus.
Aisha Buhari on her Twitter handle today said “it’s with deep sense of concern that I extend my sincere prayers towards the quick recovery of your dear son.
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar had said in a tweet that his son was infected with the virus, while asking the government to take decisive steps to contain the spread of the virus in Nigeria. He also said the @NCDCGov has been duly informed of his sons status.
Atiku’s son is currently in the Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment.

Meanwhile, in neighbouring Cameroon the President of the Parliament has tested positive to the corona virus on his return from France.
Concerns have been raised about Nigerians living in Cameroon who transit the border of both neighbouring countries and the risk of a further spread of the virus.
