Award winning Musician, Producer and Song writer Cobahms Asuquo has recently been given a top post at UN on Wednesday 27 May, 2020.
Cobahms Asuquo has Been named the National Ambassador of United Nation Children Emergency Fund [UNICEF]. This announcement was made by the UNICEF Representative to Nigeria Peter Hawkins.
In a statement made yesterday Peter Hawkins said the announcement has made Cobahms UNICEF Nigeria’s first National Ambassador in the last 15 years.
Asuquo has helped raised awareness concerning children rights and solutions, including issues around birth registration, immunization, education and protection from violence.
Hawkins welcomed him to the UNICEF family, on 27th of May, 2020 which was Children’s Day.
Cobahms Emmanuel Asuquo was born 6th January, 1981 he started his academic training as a lawyer. But eventually switched to pursue his music career.
He was signed by Sony /ATV UK publishing as a songwriter. Cobahms later went on to form his own music production and label company, Cobahms Asuquo Music Production [CAMP] in 2008.
Cobahms is visually impaired; On 2nd of December 2010, Cobhams Emmanuel Asuquo married Ojuolape Veronica Olukanni. They have two sons together.
