A trending video showed the moment when Islamic students were asked to flog their junior female colleague in Kwara State College of Islamic instruction (Madrasa).

The senior students flogged the female students at the college of Islamic instruction in Kwara State as a form of punishment following the order given to them by their cleric.
According to report, the female student was severely beaten because she went to her friend’s birthday party. Pictures of the birthday party were uploaded online and their teacher saw it and felt they took alcohol during the birthday party.

They had yogurt and not alcohol as their master thought which prompted the master to punish them.
The video has sparked reactions online as people have continued to express disappointment and disapproval from the video which went viral on several social media across the country.
