Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani has explained that he had to turn down big move to reigning Italian champions Juventus and Inter Milan for him to join Manchester United in the EPL.

Following the expiration of his contract at Paris-Saint-Germain, Cavani completed a move to Manchester United on the final day and he has been superb for the Red Devils.

Before leaving France, Cavani spent seven years at Paris-Saint-Germain playing 301 games and scored 200 goals.

Edinson Cavani heroic in every sense of the word explained that he rejected a move to Juventus or Inter Milan because of his love for Napoli.

Solskjaer makes tough statement about his squad ahead of Premier League clash with City “I will always be grateful to Napoli fans. It is for this reason that I said no to many Italian clubs including Juventus, who called me often, and also Inter.” He scored 104 goals in 138 games for Napoli after joining from rival Serie A club Palermo in 2010.

Embattled Manchester United boss Ole Solskjaer has severally claimed that the Red Devils can still win the Premier League title this season despite their unimpressive performance.

The Red Devils recently crashed out of the prestigious Champions League which has put manager Ole Solskjaer under serious pressure for him to deliver at Old Trafford. Solskjaer’s credential will be put into another big test this weekend as his wards will be facing Manchester City in what is expected to be a tough game.
