Another Fire Believed to be a tanker Explosion has occured on the Otedola Bridge fast becoming infamous for tanker explosions on that axis of the entry point into Lagos State.
Control TV gathered that the incident that happened at about 2:30 am, Saturday, was between two tankers laden with fuel in the early morning.
The number of casualties as at press time uncertain.

Update:
The Lagos State Emergency Management Authority LASEMA has issued a statement of the Otedola explosion which reads in part:
A 40 feet containerized Truck loaded with fabric had a brake failure while moving inward Berger. It then collided with a tanker loaded with 33000 liters of PMS. The impact of the collision resulted in fire outbreak.
RESPONDERS:
The Agency responders, LRU Fire,
Lagos State Fire service, FRSC and LNSC were all present at the incident scene.
CASUALTY:
No casualty was recorded.However, the fire affected the 40ft containerized truck and high tension wire. Commuters are advised to take the Ojota or 7UP exits until the backlog of traffic eases. A stationary truck KBG91XA containing PMS which wasn’t involved in the collision was equally affected by the fire.
