The Super Eagles have emerged victorious at the match against the Squirrels in Porto Novo, Benin Republic.
Substitute Paul Onuachu scored a late winner as Super Eagles beat Benin 1-0 at the Stade Charles de Gaulle on Saturday night.

Onuachu nodded home from a goalmouth scramble in the 93rd minute as Super Eagles put an end to Benin’s eight- year unbeaten home run.
Henry Onyekuru had Nigeria’s best chance in the first half but his well struck shot was saved by Saturnin Allagbe.
Nigeria despite playing without Alex Iwobi who tested positive to covid-19 secured the much needed win to the maintain dominance at the top of Group L with 11 points from five matches, while Benin sit second with seven points and Sierra Leone follow in the third spot with four points.
Gernot Rohr’s men will host Lesotho in their final match of the qualifiers on Tuesday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium , Lagos.
