Control TV News reports that at least about 150 Armed thugs were apprehended by the Nigerian Army at about 3am, Wednesday morning, at Ita Awute/Efon junction.

A source told Control TV News that the suspected thugs, armed to the teeth were coming to distrupt the emergence of a candidate for the 2022 governorship election at the PDP Primary Election which is set to take place in Ekiti state today.
“They came in many vehicles with cutlasses and guns but they are being held by the Soldiers as we speak now” the source added.
