A plane believed to belong to the military has crashed close to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport ABUJA.
Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirka confirmed the incident via his verified Twitter page moments ago.
Reports say the plane was carrying at least 6 persons including the pilot and crew.

A case of malfunction of the plane engine is currently underway.
Fire fighters have arrived the scene of he accident where the plane went down in a remote village withing distance to the airport.
The plane is believed to be headed for Minna, Niger state.
