Workers of Ogun State has called off its one-week warning strike after series of meeting with the officials of the state government.
The workers had embarked on a seven-day warning strike in protest of the state’s failure to implement the new minimum wage.

However, Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress in the state, Emmanuel Bankole, disclosed on Friday after a closed-door meeting held at the Governor’s office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta that the strike has been called off.
Bankole said the union leaders had secured the commitment of the government on their demands.
