Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki may well be on his way to PDP as he met with the governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike on Sunday afternoon.
The meeting was held amidst reports that Obaseki may be defecting to the People Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the gubernatorial election scheduled for September 19 in the state.
However Obaseki has disclosed that his next move will be decided after his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in a post on his official Twitter handle. He also said he will have to consult with his supporters before making a move.
Obaseki was disqualified from contesting in the APC primaries over Authenticity of his NYSC certificates.
