Popular singer, Lanre Fasasi, also known as Sound Sultan, is dead, aged 44.
The deceased had been undergoing chemotherapy in a hospital in the United States of America.

His demise was announced in a statement by his family on Sunday.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of multi talented veteran singer, rapper, song writer, Olanrewaju fasasi A.K.A sound Sultan.
He passed away at the age of 44 following a hard fought battle with ANGIOIMMUNOBLASTIC T-CELL LYMPHOMA”. The statement read in parts .
