Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Umar Na’Abba, is dead.
Alhaji Na’Abba, was the second Speaker of the House of Representatives in the 4th Republic, he died on Wednesday and will be buried according to Islamic injunction.
The deceased was elected Member of the House of Representatives in 1999 from Kano State. He became the Speaker a few months after where he legislated on new laws for the country setting it apart on the journey of democratic reform.
He is known to be quiet receptive and a true democrat.
