The Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire moments ago announced a second confirmed case of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
Dr. Ehanire announced this on Monday during a press briefing at the conference room of the university of Benin teaching Hospital Benin city.
He however noted that the newly confirmed case was a contact of the index case not and importation into the country.
The minister said ‘it’s therefore my duty to announce a new case of the coroner virus in Nigeria.
One of the important response strategy at the containment stage has been to identify all contact ensure their strict isolation and to follow up daily with checks for any symptoms of the disease.
