One of the boats conveying Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials and materials for the Ondo State Governorship election has capsized in Ilaje Local Government Area.
In a video shared online, the staff and materials meant for the election can be seen floating on the water while other boats are rushing down to render help. No life is lost as of the time of this report.
According to Akure-based radio station, Adaba 88.9 FM, the incident was confirmed by the INEC public relations officer in Ondo State. No life was lost.
