The Big brother Naija season 5 lockdown Edition started with glamour and styles as housemates from different parts of Nigeria were isolated in a house and compete for a large cash prize worth N85million at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted by viewers.
These Housemates were: Ozo, Nengi, Trickytee, Prince, Lilo, Lucy, Praise, Kiddwaya, Vee, Neo, Whatoni, Tolani-Baj, Dorathy, Ka3na, Kaisha, Bright O, Tochi, Eric, Erica, Laycon.
However 12 of these housemates have been evicted from the show, while one was disqualified.
Erica was the second housemate to be disqualified from the BBnaija show since its start in Nigeria in March, 2006. The very first housemate to be disqualified was Tacha from the 2019 Pepper Dem Edition.
Erica was disqualified after she got a third strike for violence, bullying and disobeying Biggie’s house rules.
Each week all housemates, except Head of House and Deputy Head of House, will face the public vote. The public voting for their favourite housemate. The voting closes on each Thursday. The four housemates received the fewest votes will be nominated for eviction.
During the live eviction shows every Sunday, the nominated housemates at risk will face a Diary Eviction Votes Session to determine who will be evicted. Each housemate will vote on one or two of the bottom four housemates they wanted to leave in the Diary Room. The housemate received the most nomination votes is evicted.

Week 2 – No eviction
Week 3 – Lilo and Ka3na evicted
Ka3ina and Lilo are the first housemates to be evicted from the BBNaija House lockdown edition.
Week 4 – Eric and Tochi Evicted
The two housemates were the latest to join Ka3na and Lilo on eviction from the BBNaija Lockdown show
Week 5 – Kaisha evicted
Week 6 – Praise evicted
Week 7 – Wathoni, Brighto and Tolanibaj evicted
Week 8 – Lucy evicted – Erica disqualified
Week 9 – Prince and Kiddwaya evicted
The 7 remaining housemate on the lockdown edition of the show are:
Ozo, Nengi, Vee, laycon, Tricky Tee, Dorathy, and housemate Neo.
