Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has finally extended his contract with Arsenal football club after a series of back and forth between himself and the club. He signed a three-year deal which reportedly worth £250,000-per-week.
Earlier in the year, the 31-year-old Gabon international made his demands known to the club that he wanted a three-year contract with Arsenal worth £250,000-per-week.
The club captain had less than one year remaining on his current, with Barcelona one of several clubs interested in the 31-year-old, who scored 22 goals in the Premier League last season, Arsenal Had no choice but to accept his demands.
“I signed the thing because I want to become an Arsenal legend, and maybe leave a legacy,” Aubameyang said on a live stream on the club’s social media.
“Hopefully you are happy and I can’t wait to see you again at this beautiful stadium, hopefully it’s soon.”
