The funeral of Archbishop Desmond Tutu is holding at the St. George’s Cathedral in South Africa Today the 1st day of the new year 2022.
His Daughter Naomi Tutu has called for unity in grief over the death of her father as she paid tribute to Archbishop Tutu who Died late last year.
She on behalf of her family thanked the thousands of messages from friends across the word asking them for pardoned if some have not received a response to their messages of love on the death of her father. In her words, “ we are not ignoring your messages we are simply overwhelmed”
The choir dressed in white sang renditions in honor of the soul of Gods servant Desmond Tutu.
President Cyril in company if too government officials present at the funeral also said Archbishop Tutu stood against injustice and oppression of the common man… a man with faith as deep as it was abiding. A champion of the immortal cause of justice.
His Children and grand children were present as well as other members of the Tutu family were all present to pay their last respect to Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Archbishop Tutu was described as a man of the people a prophet and a preacher who was at ease praying for people over the phone, The voice of the muted multitude,
Prayers were issued to God to grant him a place in the heavens above for his dedication to the works of God and for being a servant of the all Mighty God.
SA bids farewell to one of the last heroes of the struggle against apartheid as his favorite choir sang in his tribe.
Tutu’s Remains will be Aquamated ( Using Water and Chemicals) a process thought to be better than Cremation.
