The State Party Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State was a beehive of activities on Tuesday 3rd May, 2022 as key Party stakeholders were called to append their signature on the nomination forms of the leading Presidential aspirant of the APC in Nigeria Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governor of Lagos State Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu who is seeking re-election.

Comrade Ayodele Adewale who is a APC party stalwart in Lagos State was present with other critical stakeholders that gathered at the APC Lagos State Secretariat on Acme Road, Ogba, Ikeja to sign the forms.
Some of the leaders who appended their signature were members of the Governor Advisory Council (GAC) led by the revered Prince Tajudeen Olusi (Deputy Chairman of GAC), Prince Abiodun Ogunleye former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Chief Henry Ajomale for APC chairman in Lagos State, Chief Abayomi Fini member GAC, Cardinal James Odunbaku member GAC, former Secretary to the Lagos State Government Chief Olorunfemi Bashorun, former Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Waheed Jokotola Pelumi, former Deputy Governor of Lagos State Otunba Femi Pedro, former Deputy Governor of Lagos State Princess Sarah Sosan, former Deputy Governor of Lagos State Mrs. Idiat Adebule, former commissioner for special duties Dr. Tola Kasali, Omoba Olumide Sosanya member GAC, House of Representatives member (Ikeja) Hon. James Faleke, Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State Mr. Tayo Ayinde, APC Lagos State party Chairman Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, former APC southwest woman leader Chief Mrs. Kemi Nelson, Hon. Abena former Secretary to Ondo State Government, Hon. G.T Olukolu former member House of Representatives Amuwo Odofin federal constituency, Hon. Olu-Ojo former member House of Representatives from Ekiti State, members of the APC Lagos state executive council, delegations from Oyo State, Ogun State et al.

Addressing newsmen after signing the nomination forms, Comrade Ayodele Adewale referred to Asiwaju Tinubu as a rallying point for all true progressives in Nigeria considering the tremendous role he plays as a leading light to other politicians.
Comrade Adewale called on all party faithfuls to harness the needed support in ensuring that the national leader of APC and former Governor of Lagos State clinches the ticket to become the Party’s flag bearer.
The leading House of Representatives aspirant for Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency Comrade Ayodele Adewale expressed optimism that Asiwaju will win the Party’s Presidential ticket in the forthcoming APC Presidential primary election.

Comrade Ayodele Adewale also commended the GAC for endorsing the re-election bid of the Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo Olu, saying that he had performed exceptionally well over the space of 3 years by consolidating on the master plan set over 20 years ago by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in transforming Lagos to a mega city.
