Governor Mai Mala Buni, Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Thursday, July 2 led members of the committee to visit the national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Caretaker Committee leader, Buni and his team were in Lagos to see Tinubu in other to achieve reconciliation in the party and carry all stakeholders along in their quest for unifying the party in its weary times.
This visit was also to seek his support and blessing and to brief the Former Governor of Lagos state on plans to reconcile aggrieved members and leaders at all levels.
The decisions was taken on Monday during the inaugural meeting of the committee held at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
Governor Buni said:
“Tinubu is a founding father of this party and one of our leaders. That is all I can say for now.”
