Another five of the remaining 34 students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, North-West Nigeria, have regained freedom.
Recall that Control TV earlier reported that the first five students (2 females and 3 males) were released on Monday and have been reunited with their families after been kidnapped on the 11th of March 2021.

Personal Assistant to the Provost of the College, Ahmed Rufai, confirmed that four males and a female student were released on Thursday evening.
According to him, three of the released male students are brothers from the same parents.
He, however, did not state if any ransom was paid before the students were released.
With the latest development, a total of 10 students have been freed while 29 others are in captivity.
