The fate of the people of Anambra would be sealed shortly as citizens turn up in large numbers to cast their votes.
According to reports, a total of 18 candidates are battling to overthrow the outgoing governor, Willie Obiano.
Among the 18 candidates are: Charles Soludo – APGA Senator Andy Uba – APC Valentine Ozigbo- PDP Senator Ifeanyi Ubah – YPP Just like other states, there are three senatorial districts in Anambra.

INEC revealed that, in Anambra north senatorial district, there will be 1,820 polling units to cater for 846,994 registered voters, Anambra Central senatorial district, there will be 3,987 polling units to cater for 887,295 registered voters, while in Anambra South senatorial district, there will be 1,934 polling units to cater for 794,203 voters.
According to the analysis, a total of 2.52 million registered voters in Anambra would decide the fate of the candidates.
Anambra has 21 local government areas. Meanwhile, INEC has reiterated that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) will be used for the Anambra state governorship election.
