Popular Musician Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo better known by his stage name D’Banj has demanded N100m from Miss Seyitan Babatayo who accused him of Molesting her on December 30, 2018.
Seyitan Babatayo, accused the singer in a series of post via Twitter saying she was invited to an all-white party at Eko Atlantic by D’banj’s manager. After the party, D’banj managed to obtain the key to her hotel room from a staff of the hotel and gained entrance while she was asleep.
However Dbanj made his announcement on his instagram page that he has taken up legal actions and demands a public apology from seyi for accusing him of rape.
His post reads:
“Today is exactly 1 week after my birthday and this will be the only time I will address the recent false allegations and lies from the pit of hell.
“I have chosen to do so because the incident is a slap to my marriage and my beautiful wife, my entire family and those who believe in me. I did not want to dignify the slurs with a response but it appears my silence has empowered my accusers to think i have been scared into the shadows so I would like to state that these Accusations are false and ludicrous and Have been handed over to my Legal Team.
“It’s unfortunate that this is coming a few weeks before the second anniversary of the passing of my son Daniel And this well timed falsehood has reopened the painful scars of my deep loss.
In a letter signed by his lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN) the musician asked his accuser to pay the sum of N100m within 48 hours or would face legal actions. Dbanj also demanded an apology was to be made in at least Four National dailies.

The singer who was married before the said purported rape took place, added that the allegation was an insult to his wife.
