Robin Van Persie Former Arsenal and Manchester united forward has proclaimed Sir Alex Ferguson as the best manager he ever worked with ahead of Arsene Wenger and Louis Van gaal.
The dutch Striker joined Arsenal from Feyenoord at the age of 20 for a deal that cost Arsenal £3million the forward spent eight years at Arsenal working under Wenger before moving to Manchester side in 2012.
Robin van Persie spent just one year under alex Ferguson at Manchester United and also played a key role in helping Manchester secure the premier league title.
The forward who was also a Netherland international player worked under football Manager Louis Van Gaal and helped his national team to the semi final in the 2010 world cup.
In a book he wrote, LVG- The Manager And The Total Person. Robin stated;
”It was amazing and brilliant how Ferguson kept the entire squad happy, He was a ”super manager” and a total person.”
He further stated:
”Wenger was a combination of Ferguson and Van Gaal; Wenger always emphasized all the positive things and he looked at what would work for a long time. While tactically ‘Van Gaal’ was a genius you can’t deny that”
”I have had managers who had their own strength; But Ferguson really is a super manager.”
While playing for Arsenal Robin Van Persie Never won a major title until his move to Manchester United were he won the premier league title, community shield and also a golden boot for becoming the top scorer of the season.
Robin is the third player ever in the premier league to win a golden boot in two different clubs both in Arsenal and Manchester United.
