Abducted Mapoly final year student identified as Orekoya Oluwatobiloba, her friend and a former Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Adigun Agbaje, have been reportedly released after spending two days in the kidnappers den.

The two MAPOLY students were both abducted on Friday, 28 October, 2022 on their to a friend’s wedding in Ibadan alongside Agbaje.
It was gathered that the three of them were kidnapped near Satan Guru Maharaj Garden on Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Recall that we previously reported that the abductors demanded a ransom of N10 Million each from the Mapoly final year student and her friend while N50 Million ransom was placed on the professor.
However, it was gathered that the abducted students and the professor were all released on Sunday evening after the demanded ransom was paid.

Meanwhile the abducted Mapoly final year student, Orekoya and her friend identified as Amina Taiwo paid N2.2 million to secure their release from the kidnapper’s Den.
The report about the exact amount Professor Adewale paid was undisclosed as at the time of filing this reports.
A very close relative of Oluwatobiloba Orekoya identified as Segun Orekoya confirmed her release.
According to Segundo Orekoya, “It is confirmed, they have been released this evening. The two girls were released after the kidnappers collected N2. 2 million ransom.
