Kemebradikumo Pondei, acting managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), has been Whisked off the venue of the House hearing for further treatment.
He passed out while testifying before the panel, while other participants at the meeting made spirited effort to revive him.
Pondei collapsed while responding to allegations of 1.5billion naira of financial misappropriation as the House Committee on NDDC grilled him.

Pondei was been grilled for 45 minutes before becoming unconscious.
However, Kemebradikumo Pondei has been taken out of the venue for further assessment and treatment on his health.

Meanwhile, Godswill Akpabio, minister of Niger Delta affairs, has begun testifying to the panel for alleged mismanagement of funds for the NDDC.
