The Nigerian Police have secured the release of Wife of late former Edo Speaker, Zakawanu Garuba from her abductors.
The widow of the former lawmaker was abducted between Lokoja and Okene in Kogi State. She was on her way to Auchi from Abuja.
It was gathered that Governor Obaseki called the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu who ordered the Kogi State Commissioner of Police to ensure her immediate rescue from the hands of the kidnappers.

She was freed afterwards with the Police yet to officially reveal details of what transpired.
