Ghanaian actress Akuapem Poloo also known as Alade Brown has been arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) over the controversial birthday photo with her son.
Alade Brown is being sent to the headquarters of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) around the Ministries in Accra.

Recall that Alade took to her Instagram page to share a photo of herself unclothed while her son wore just his pant. She held his hand in the photo while looking straight at him.

After the photo received a-lot of backlash from Netizens, it was reported that Child Rights International petitioned the CID to act over the matter since the actress had violated some laws and also breached some Child Acts.
In its letter, Child Rights International indicated that Alade Brown had hurt the dignity and privacy of her son. According to the child rights body, the entertainer had violated the Welfare Principle of the Children’s Act.
