Former General Manager of the Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance and Regulatory Agency, Jide Odekunle has died of COVID-19.
Odekunle who served during former governor of lagos state Akinwunmi Ambode administration died as a result of COVID-19 complications.
Jide Odekunle died at the Onikan Isolation Centre Lgos state on Saturday where he was receiving treatment.
Joe Igbokwe, the Special Adviser to the Lagos State government confirmed his death
Mr Joe said:
“I am diminished once again as a mortal as my successor at LASIMRA, Jide Odekunle, dies of COVID-19 complications at the Onikan Isolation Centre in Lagos. May his soul rest in perfect peace,”
Mr Jide Odekunle studied Computer Science and graduated from the University of Ibadan. He was the Bobagunwa of Egbaland before his death.
