The Oyo State Government has discharged 180 COVID-19 patients after returning negative for the virus.
The Oyo State Government says 180 COVID-19 patients in the State have recovered and been discharged, following treatment and having tested negative for the coronavirus twice.
However, COVID-19 confirmation tests for sixty-six suspected cases returned positive, bringing the total number of cases in Oyo State today to 1,372.
The Governor of the state Seyi Makinde disclosed this via his official twitter handle

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the state ranks third in number of recorded cases with Lagos and FCT holding the first and second position respectively.
However the Governor has urged the resident of the state to continue to comply with the guidelines of Oyo state Covid-19 task force to curb the spread of the virus in the state.
