The funeral of former Oyo Governor, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, has been postponed.
Ajimobi died on Thursday, June 25, from the complications arising from COVID-19
The former Oyo state Governor’s spokesman, Bolaji Tunji, told reporters in his Oluyole, Ibadan residence on Friday morning that the family would soon announce the funeral arrangement.
He said, “The funeral arrangements will be announced soon by the family but it will be observed privately so as to be in accordance with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control guidelines.”
He also appealed to sympathisers, who have been streaming his residence, to continue following NCDC guidelines by washing their hands, using face masks and keeping social distancing, among others.
