Former governor of Oyo state Senator Abiola Ajimobi has died, he died at 70.
The former governor was rumoured to be dead last week but his aides and family members declaimed the report.
It was reported that Ajimobi has been in coma and on life support for some days at Cardiology Hospital in Ikoyi Lagos State.
Ajimobi, has been totally unconscious since last Thursday after his organs totally collapsed. Afterward Ajimobi was reported to be treated of Coronavirus.
His death was later announced by his Family on Thursday in a statement which reads:
“His organs collapsed about a week ago. It is just that the family didn’t want to unplug the life support. May his soul rest in peace,” he said
