National Executive Committee (NEC) has affirmed Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as the representative of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Edo Governorship Election slated for September.
This comes after an approval of the party primaries by the NEC at a meeting which took place at the State House in Abuja.
President Muhammadu Buhari presided over the meeting and NEC affirmed Ize-Iyamu’s emergence as the party’s candidate.
National Executive Committee [NEC] further directed the immediate submission of his name to INEC in compliance with electoral guidelines.
In the meeting a decision was also directed to all party members and stakeholders to withdraw all ongoing litigations, court cases and should also work together towards the betterment of the party
