Two Persons have died in the Twin Tanker Explosion on the Kara Bridge in the early hours of Sunday 21st June 2020.
The Explosion involved two fuel laden tankers and a trailer at the center of Kara Bridge along the Lagos Ibadan Express Way.
The Accident which happened at about 1am Sunday morning threw residents of Opic, Denro-Ishashi, Akute, Lambe, Ojodu Berger, and parts of ikeja into Panic as many thought it was sounds of guns being fired.
Although the cause of the explosion and fire has not been established Control TV gathered that the early heavy downpour may have been part of the reason coupled with the slippery tar recently laid in completion of the entire stretch of the bridge.
The Federal, Lagos State and other fire service men have arrived the scene and could be seen from a distance making efforts to put out the blaze that pierced into the quiet of the night causing vehicles at both sides of the expressway to stop.
